Legacy

Legacy.jpg

Tuesday, April 20 | 6:30–8:30pm | Fireside Room

Legacy is a ministry for ALL women! Our purpose is to provide a gathering where intentional intergenerational fellowship combined with spiritual encouragement and challenge can take place.

This is where you can connect with other women of any age. If you are new to the church, Legacy is a good starting point in meeting other women. Legacy is also a non-threatening, welcoming environment to bring a friend from outside the church. Our desire is to encourage all women and help each one to develop friendships in their world.

We will enjoy a meal together and then hear from our speaker for the evening.

We are doing what we can to make this event happen as safely as possible. That includes offering three different table options: mask, non-mask, and virtual (meeting live via Zoom).

We will accepted donations ($5 suggested) at the door to help cover the cost of the evening.

Friendish: A Kelly Needham Event

Friendish - web.jpg

Friday, February 19 | 6:45pm (check-in)–9:00pm
Saturday, February 20 | 8:30am (check-in and pastries & coffee)–12:00pm

We are excited to host author and speaker Kelly Needham for a two-day event based on her book Friendish, which is all about learning how to develop gospel-centered, life-giving, biblical friendships.

When spiritually dead people receive new life in Christ, everything changes. Including Friendship.

As Christians, we know friendship matters. Go to any Christian book store and you’ll find myriads of books on the importance of community. But while most people are convinced of their need for Christian friendships, they are often confused about the problems and disappointment they experience.

What’s responsible for this confusion? For too many people, their friendships are very worldly. Following Jesus may have changed the activities of friendship, but the DNA of how and why they practice friendship remains untouched. These relationships may look good, but underneath, they’re merely friend-ish.

But we need something better. Something more stable and secure. We need real friendship.

The event costs $15 for adults and is free for middle school and high school students.

Registration deadline: February 18
